I love every part of that movie. It's one of the only movies I can really say that about. The last time I watched it caused some trouble. I watched it with this guy who recently got engaged, and we both really like Woody Allen and we got really really drunk and after we finished. It was just filled with so much romanticism that I got depressed. Then I threw up and passed out and then everything was fine.

I was having a conversation this morning with a someone this morning and somehow the topic of Woody Allen came up. Eventually the conversation led to Annie Hall, his most famous film. I'm not sure how we got around to this but I was then told one of the most succinct stories I've ever heard about the pure joy and agonies of watching movies. That, and the ending of the story made me laugh. Printed here with permission
