The New York Post has a short interview with, well, who they call the world's worst director, Uwe Boll. I can't agree or disagree with that statement because I have only seen about 30 minutes of one his films, House of the Dead, or something like that. It doesn't really matter, it was based on a video game (as all his films are at this point) and it was, like the article says, horrible. Anyway, The Post asks him a few questions about respect and while he doesn't seem to have any in the online film community at least he is honest about his films. I like his answer to the first questions:

You've tussled with critics before - literally. Are you happy this movie isn't being screened for them?

No. In Germany, they showed it to all the critics. I said to my US partners, "I would not hide it. It's working." The German press is not friendly to me. I can compare it to the US press. I had 25 percent really bad reviews, like, "Oh, a Boll movie. Typical trash." But some said it was "by far Boll's best movie." They compared it to, not "Lord of the Rings," but something weaker like "Eragon."
