I guess it is time for Hilary Swank to make a good movie again. She is getting better at surrounding her Academy Award winning roles with nothing but crap. Swank is starring as Amelia Earhart in Amelia, a biopic about the pioneering aviator that Mira Nair (Monsoon Wedding) is directing from a script by Ron Bass. Earhart became the first woman to receive the Distinguished Flying Cross medal after she flew across the Atlantic Ocean in 1928. She went missing over the Pacific Ocean in 1937 during a solo trans-global flight attempt and was declared dead in 1939. Swank will play Earhart during the trans-Atlantic flight days.
